The amount of gibberish and talk going on in the marketplace about skin care products is amazing. I actually saw an ad on TV the other day for an “anti gravity” cream. Amazing, I wonder if I put enough of it all over my body if I could float away… just a thought. The wild thing about this market, much like the dieting craze, is that anyone and everyone is willing to try it.

Take a look at all the hype on hemp seed lotion. Of course this stuff contains tons of antioxidants, what person or company in their right mind would make a product these days without this cool sounding buzzword thrown in. No matter where you look or read about hemp lotion products, you’ll find all sort of medical jargon that sounds promising. Some even claim their hemp seed products will cure eczema or psoriasis, which is a pretty big claim; of course they’re selling the stuff.

But, what about testimonials? You see a few here and there and I don’t really care about all the medical jargon, I just want to know if it works or not, and the only way to find that out is to actually try the product for myself. My wife had psoriasis and I can honestly say, hemp lotion has not cured it for her and believe me, she’s tried almost everything through the years. What works the best? Relaxation and low stress. She does come across some lotion or creams from time to time that seem to really help, but it seems to only make a big difference for a short time and then it gets worse again. By far, the best treatment is reducing stress and living a happy life.

Now, what all that said, we both really enjoy our hemp lotion products. We enjoy a lot of time in the sun, have a pool, and enjoy vacationing to sunny places, so our skin gets dried out a lot. Out of all the lotions and things we use, those with hemp seed oil in them seem to re-hydrate the skin the quickest without leaving an oily residue.
