The secret to having believable CZ wedding rings lies in two specific things:
1. Selecting pieces that have gemstones that are not too outrageously large
2. Choosing settings that are of the highest quality possible in solid silver or gold
Consider Your Circumstances When Choosing a Fake
One of the biggest reasons why CZ engagement and wedding rings look fake is not just because the stone is very large, like a 4 carat pink or yellow diamond, which may not in fact look fake on its own, but takes on its surroundings and will be believed or not based on what your actual circumstances are.
What I mean is that if a lady has it within her means to buy a 4 carat pink diamond but decides to cheat and buy a fake, chances are the fake will be believable. But if a young couple who are struggling to budget for their wedding suddenly show up with a 4 carat pink diamond engagement ring, chances are the ring will not be believed in the circle of people that know their circumstances.
I state this obvious fact because often the quality of the rings is not so much to blame for its believability as is the fact that no one will believe you could actually afford it. The best way to avoid a fake looking like a fake is to choose a size of stone that might actually be within your budget should you choose to finance the piece. That means that you will likely not want a solitaire with larger than a 1 carat stone, or a cluster or setting that uses multiple gems totaling more than 2 carats.
Affordable Sterling Silver & White and Yellow Gold CZ Engagement Rings
The second way to ensure that you choose believable CZ wedding rings is to select real precious metal settings in solid sterling silver or 14k or 18k gold. White and yellow gold CZ engagement rings and wedding sets are more expensive, but the settings are finely crafted, the gems hand selected for quality and the pieces are usually styled after the genuine diamond designs, and therefore they do not look fake at all. In silver they are surprisingly affordable, most styles being between $50 and $100 and can be found easily at places like Almost Diamonds. For gold settings that cost between $200 and $400, you should try places like Goldenmine because they are very well made and look totally believable.
If you want a large stone or a celebrity imitation as your engagement ring then don’t expect it to be believed unless you already own some real gems that are rather large.

I cannot blame a girl for desiring to have a large stone on her ring but, for something that is fake, i would never trade it for one that is real. Foremost, it will always be ectched on my mind that what I am wearing is not real. Small as it is, I would alwasy go for my james allen 18k White Gold .26ct Bezel and Pave Set Diamond Wedding Ring. Who could blame me?
