Gold items need care and Tiffany gold is no exception. Gold needs rest and relaxation. Gold  needs a loving cleaning once in a while to keep its luster and incredible classy look. Cleaning is easy and does not require  products or equipment other than what you will find around the house. All you need is a soft toothbrush, preferably one you do not use yourself and dish washing liquid.

Prepare a bowl of luke warm water and squirt in a drop or three of dish washing liquid and suds it up. Dip the Tiffany gold jewelry in the sudsy solution and with a soft toothbrush gives it a gentle scrubbing making sure to work the bristles of the brush into all the nooks and crannies. The scrubbing will remove the environmental elements it collects and oils and crud from your hands or whatever body part comes in contact with your jewelry. After a thorough cleaning, rinse your gold under warm water until there is no residue in the rinse water. Dry your gold with a soft cloth then give it a gentle buffing to make it shine once again. If you prefer using a non abrasive jewelry cleaner, make sure it will not harm any gem stones embedded in or attached to your gold. If you wear rings of any kind, you may want to take them off when cleaning your gold.

If your Tiffany gold is also a baguette ring, cleaning is done in the same manner as cleaning any piece of gold. A soft toothbrush and dish washing liquid will do the trick but take extra care scrubbing the gem stone. Scrubbing your baguette ring too hard may loosen the stones or knock them out of its setting altogether. If you choose to use a gold cleaning product other than dishwashing soap, be sure it is safe for all the gem stones contained in your baguette ring.
