When Nintendo came out with the Wii console gaming system, it took the industry by storm because of its unique controller capailities. The Wii controller, also known as the WiiMote, only requires that the user wave the controller in the air to move the cursor on the screen. While there are of course buttons to press as well, even young chilren can get the hang of the Wii controller with the simple motion controls.  However one draw back was that the controller lacked a certain accuracy and smoothness. Nintendo has fixed that with its release of its controller accessory, the Wii MotionPlus.  The Wii MotionPlus has really assists the gamer more precisely with much more control and accuracy when playing.

The Wii MotionPlus gets attached to the Wii controller and helps the gamer control his or her swing better. It puts a finer point on the arm motion, which allows greater accuracy in games like golf, bowling, archery, and especially other sports related games. The Wii MotionPlus really does work as intended. Players report increased accuracy and better scores in their games when they use the MotionPlus. It allows players to move the controller more slowly and put a finer point on things like targeting, compared to the old WiiMote all by itself. The Wii MotionPlus is very easy to attach to the controller. It simply clicks onto the bottom of the controller where the nunchuck would normally be attached. There are also cases that fit over the controller and the Wii MotionPlus together to hold it together for more secure play.

Some of the best Wii bundle deals include games that use the MotionPlus as well as the MotionPlus itself. This can be a great savings, because the motion plus as a stand alone retails for about $20 on store shelves now.
