The Char Broil Patio Bistros represent the next evolution in patio cooking. The Patio Caddies, which were staples for Char Broil over the past decade, have been updated in design as well as cooking performance.

With the spring and summer upon us, this is a time that people get outdoors more.  People go to parks to fly kites, and people go to the beach to lay out in the sand or play games and enjoy the water.  Another popular activity during this season is grilling.  Whether you are just using the grill for a meal for your family, or maybe you’re having a ton of people over for a barbecue get together, whatever the case is, grilling is a great way to cook food.

The traditional type of grill uses a process known as convection to cook the meat.  Just like the oven in your kitchen, it surrounds the meat or food with heat, and that cooks the meat.  This process has some fall backs because all of the heat is concentrated around the outside of the meat, and that can cause issues when cooking.  How many times have you burned the outside while having the inside of the meat still cool.  This is because the process of convection, having heat around the heat, takes specific care to ensure nothing gets burned.

There is a new type of grill that has hit the consumer market, and that is infrared grills.  Any infrared grill reviews will tell you that infrared grills have been around a long time, they just haven’t been available to consumers.  The company that has the original patent would only sell to commercial establishments, which is why restaurants are able to cook a lot faster and evenly.  But, now the patent has been released and other companies have begun to release infrared grills to the consumer public.

Infrared grills use infrared heat and director burners in order to grill the meat.  By having the heat applied directly, it is able to cook a lot faster as opposed to waiting for a traditional grill or oven to warm up to the right temperature.  In addition to quicker cooking times, you’ll also be able to get a much more evenly cooked piece of meat, because of the heat being directly applied.  It can cook inside and out at a faster rate so that you don’t get the burned or dry outsides in order to allow it to become fully cooked.

If you’re looking for a new grill, then I would definitely consider looking into an infrared grill.
