How the Keurig Coffee Maker Changed My Life
A few years ago I did not know the joy of having a fresh cup of coffee whenever I wanted one. Being a coffee lover, I have owned several coffee makers over the years. I started out like most people with the Mr. Coffee drip brewer. I used good old fashioned Folgers coffee and enjoyed every cup, well I thought I did. A few years later I upgraded to grinding my own coffee and learned to enjoy the freshness and variety of coffee that I could make. The same problem kept happening to me though. The first cup of coffee was always great, and then every other cup got worse and worse until I couldn’t drink it anymore.
Then one day I found the Keurig brewing system at the store. It looked great and it seemed so easy to make a cup of coffee. I was really impressed with how fast the water heated up and that it only took 30 seconds to make a cup of coffee. I was sold until I saw the price. At over a hundred bucks and 50 cents per cup I couldn’t justify the cost, so I left the store empty handed. After some thought I tried to figure out how much I was spending on my coffee and realized that I was spending more than 50 cents per pot and only drinking one cup anyway. I went back to the store and got a Keurig and haven’t looked back.
The Keurig instantly changes how you think about coffee. There are so many different types of K Cups, I often have trouble deciding which flavor to make in the morning. My only coffee dilemma is trying to find a way to store K Cups. Even now as I type this, I am enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee that tastes great. If you have been put off by the price of the Keurig think about how much coffee and money you waste now.
