An electric stapler is one of the most useful supplies that can be found in just about any office.  While a manual stapler is adequate for the run of the mill stapling jobs, when stapling together large stacks of documents or papers an electric stapler is indispensable.  If you are looking to purchase one for your home or office, the following tips should help you find the best one for your needs.

First of all, know the sheet capacity that you are going to need.  Sheet capacity is a measure of how many sheets of paper a stapler can staple at one time.  Some staplers have higher capacities than others, but you should have no trouble finding an electric stapler capable of stapling anywhere from 20 to 80 sheets at a time.  A heavy duty stapler might even be able to staple a hundred sheets or more.  Obviously, the higher the capacity, the higher the price is going to be.  A good rule of thumb is to always buy as much stapling capacity as your budget allows.
